I’ve heard sprouts touted as a “miracle food”. Specifically broccoli sprouts. They are suppose to be high in this stuff called “sulforaphane”. Apparently sulforaphane, that you can easily get from growing and eating broccoli sprouts helps with things like: natural detoxification, helps protect against cancer, and boosts the brain. Wow! Apparently sulforaphane is strongest in broccoli sprouts when they are 3-4 days old, which is why it’s best to grow the sprouts yourself.
