My friend who’s a massage therapist was telling me the other day how she was told to strengthen this muscle to improve lower body strength and posture by her trainer. It’s the glute medius muscle, and she’s seen herself become much stronger, and decrease her hip pain, from doing this simple exercise in the video. Now she’s telling everyone she knows about it. I always enjoy learning a new exercise that will improve my life. Here’s a great video talking about it with different modifications on the exercise.
